TechSoup Cisco Program To Resume
Cisco Systems offers donations of its premier networking products through TechSoup. As some of my nonprofit clients know, the Cisco donation program proved so popular, that it ran out of stock. Recently, TechSoup announced that the program will be resuming in July. Nonprofits who are interested in upgrading their networking components should plan now to purchase just as soon as the program restarts in order to avoid disappointment. Remember to plan comprehensively—the same once per year opportunity will apply as in the past.
TechSoup Limited
TechSoup has a new, rather supplemental, program called TechSoup Limited that my nonprofit clients should be aware of. There are several benefits to the program including lower administrative costs of some very popular products. Additionally, the program does not count towards any products already purchased. So, if your nonprofit would like to purchase some extra products, but has already used its once per year allowance, the Limited program will allow for an additional purchase within the restriction period.
The two products currently offered are QuickBooks and Norton security titles. To give an example of the savings, Norton Internet Security (NIS) is $62 for 25 licenses. That’s less than $2.50 per license! Interested nonprofits should, naturally, contact TechSoup about these special offers. Please bear in mind that while SOHOBE can help with the TechSoup process, SOHOBE is not associated with TechSoup or any of its affiliates.
